Position Overview

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Department of Occupational Therapy is seeking fulltime clinical track faculty with pediatric and/or adult experience to join an academic team at Winston-Salem State University. General responsibilities are to assist with program/curriculum development and evaluations, teach pediatric and/or adult content, advice students including research, supervise fieldwork, and develop research agenda consistent with OT program and institution’s aims.

Daily: Monday- Friday 8:00- 5:00

Department Required Skills

Assist with program/curriculum development and evaluations, teach pediatric and/or adult content, advise students including research, supervise fieldwork, and develop research agenda consistent with OT program and institution’s aims. Serve on University, School of Health Sciences, and departmental committees, and engage with community and/or professional organizations.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

Ph.D, Ed.D, OTD or comparable degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
At a minimum master’s degree in the field of Occupational Therapy.
Experience: Two years or more fulltime or part-time teaching experience in a college or university. A minimum of five years of clinical experience is expected in the field of pediatrics and/or adults including at least two years supervising students.
Scholarly Production: Should have record of scholarship at state, national, or international level
